Like all our products, the fabric for this bag was created and the bag itself was made entirely in Peru.

TRADITIONAL PERUVIAN AMAZON FABRIC THAT WILL TAKE YOU ON A JOURNEY

The fabric used to make it is a traditional Peruvian weave.

Its origins and production:

Our highly experienced Peruvian craftspeople have carefully crafted this lovely accessory in Lima, Peru. However, this traditional fabric was woven by craftspeople from the city of ‘Ayacucho’, one of Peru’s oldest cities (founded in 1539).

The exterior of this rucksack features ethnic patterns in magical, warm colours.

This original, colourful green traditional fabric, lovingly woven by our Peruvian artisans, was inspired by the Peruvian Amazon, with its rich biodiversity. 

The Peruvian Amazon is considered the green lung of the planet; it boasts a vast ecosystem and the world’s greatest reservoir of biodiversity: it is home to over 16,000 animal species and more than 40,000 plant species. In Peru, the Amazon rainforest covers more than half the country.

How can I look after my lovely bag?

Don’t worry. Here’s a quick tip to help it last longer:

- Use a waterproofing and stain-repellent treatment for textiles, imitation leather or genuine leather, preferably colourless, odourless and non-toxic to protect the environment.

Instructions for use:

- Remove all dirt and dust using a brush.

- If it is damp, leave it to dry to ensure it is fully waterproof.

- Spray the item evenly from a distance of 20–30 cm, applying short bursts rather than a continuous spray. Leave to dry for 10 minutes.

- Carefully waterproof the Peruvian fabric, the seams and the edges.

- Repeat this process once more.

- Finally, allow it to dry completely before use, particularly in wet weather.
